Brief: The Google Assistant newsletters required a look and feel refresh, in order to encourage more engagement.
Objective: The purpose was to show how Google Assistant can bring a little bit of magic to our users’ everyday routine and help to cheer everyone up.
Process: Introduced a new layout format which included larger icons, and refresh placement of queries and “try it”buttons. As well as hero images for each module using humanising illustrations for relatability. Skin tones and facial expression were then used to show more diversity and inclusion.
Result: Google Assistant Newsletter became award winning; The Web Marketing Association is proud to present this 2018 Internet Advertising Competition Award for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising.
